If the answer is Yes, and you own a compatible mobile phone (e.g. Apple or Google Android based device), you will also be invited to use an App called MoveMed, .
This will provide the researchers and your clinical team with a more complete picture of any ups and downs in your symptoms, which may not be obvious from your 6 monthly/yearly clinic assessments.
For your convenience, we have created links and QR codes. Use any of them to download the app with ease.
Log into the App and sign in.
Open the App and use the email you gave the trial team to log in.
Now please enter the verification code.
After you type your email, the app will ask for a verification code. The verification code will be sent to the email you gave the trial team, and/or the mobile number you gave the trial team, so please do look out for these.
PS. Don’t forget to check your Spam/Junk folder, just in case the email gets allocated there.
You are all set-up, now do your first set of tests.
Each test takes less than 30 seconds. Give them a first try to get familiar with them, and don’t feel afraid to try multiple times if you need to get the hang of them.
Results trends will be provided every three months using graphs on your request so you can follow your test perfromance. To create these awesome graphics we will need a minimum of 8 assessments over the three month period.
The app will be available for you to use up until 24 months following your surgery. Ideally you should start before and then continue afterwards, however you can stop the assessments at any time point. We will be looking through for your feedback as we feel these assessments will help you to review and monitor your own progress, both personally and throughout the trial.
All feedback is welcome at any point. Please feel free to contact our team and get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
